This Sunday many of our elders celebrated Bhanu Saptami. This is an important festival of worship of Lord Surya. The elders also wished for prosperity, good fortune and good health. But our youth, who want to be healthy, also like to play some sport along with prayer. And to play any sport regularly, it is important that you develop fever for that sport before the age of 30.
If you have not had such fever till now, then a great opportunity for you is starting from June 11, 2026. On this day, the world’s biggest sporting event will begin, in which 48 teams will play 108 matches in 3 host countries for one title. Twenty years ago, Lionel Messi (now 38) and Cristiano Ronaldo (now 41) were probably the most well-known athletes in the world. It was definitely there ten years ago and it is there even today. Both are part of a generation of sports celebrities that is unmatched in history.
Although the sports world knows that this will probably be their last World Cup, but they do not rule out the possibility that some new stars can also emerge from this tournament. He could be an already established player or a completely new face, like Messi and Ronaldo who debuted in Germany in 2006. Let us take a look at such possible faces.
1. Erling Holland (25), Norway: He has been in the eyes of the world since his school days. He scores goals, is physically dominant and speaks little. He is almost like Ronaldo.
2. Kylian Mbappe (27), France: Is the captain of France. Experts believe him to be somewhere between the shy and likable Messi and the quiet Ronaldo. He is like a pre-eminent star, who will surpass others and become a special personality in his field.
3. Jude Bellingham (22), England: He is a very rhythmic midfield player. Looks like a movie star and is the most reliable player of the team.
4. Vinicius Junior (25), Brazil: In addition to striving to win the title at every World Cup, Brazil also has the responsibility to produce players capable of changing the course of the game. After Pele, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Neymar, perhaps Vinicius is now that star.
5. Lennart Karl (18), Germany: Karl can probably end this drought for Germany, which has not been able to progress beyond the group stage in the World Cup for the last 12 years.
6. Lamin Yamal (16), Spain: His presence on the field creates immense excitement. He is a lot like Messi. He took charge in the 2024 European Championship and led Spain to the title.
7. Gilberto Mora (17), Mexico: Experts predict that he has the potential to become an overnight global superstar because he is full of energy. The midfield organizer has been compared to the great Mexican footballer Cuauhtemoc Blanco, who was renowned for his stillness.
8. Ousmane Dembele (29), France: Many hope that this flamboyant footballer can do even better than his teammate Mbappe. Bookies believe that if this happens, France can win the title.
9. Andrique (19), Brazil: His journey from orphanage to reaching the World Cup is very interesting. Experts believe that his ability can surprise football fans.
10. Pau Cubarsi (19), Spain: Apart from being an excellent defender, Cubarsi, who has an attractive physique, can make football fashionable. Standing 6 feet tall and having the wisdom of a 40-year-old, the Cuban can do wonders.
The bottom line is that If you watch this 39 day event, I am sure it will create sports fever within you. And if you continue playing after this, then believe me you will remain healthy.
