Pt. Vijayshankar Mehta

We live in reaction most of the times. Someone says something to us, does something good or bad for us and we react immediately. Gradually our original work comes to an end. We become mere figures of reaction. The remote of our happiness and sorrow goes into the hands of others. Whereas what should happen is that our actions gradually turn into creation. And when any work is creative, we automatically move towards God.

When the bad qualities are removed from our work then that work becomes worship. The result of worship is communion with God. Kakabhushundi ji said to Garuda ji – Lust, anger, pride, greed, attachment to home, sorrow, te kimi jahanin Raghupatihi, fool beyond tam kup. Those who are engrossed in lust, anger, pride and greed and are attached to the house of sorrow, how can they know Raghunath ji? Those fools are lying in the well of darkness. Our aim should be to eliminate bad qualities from our actions. Whatever is available will be the best.
