Navneet Gurjar’s column: Today’s politics and disintegrating parties

The argument has come to an end. The intellect is tired. The decision-making capacity of politics has been paralysed. Therefore, stubbornness cannot be conquered just because of this. A Veerappan keeps killing people for years and years and politics allows this to happen. Naxalites keep tearing us apart from within, and governments keep watching this. The compulsion of politics is that it has not been able to give up the British way of ruling even in 67 years, rather it has become entrenched. Look at the way of the British – the pieces which they had brought together to establish their empire, later they started dividing the same pieces to save the same empire. He aimed that only parts, only fragments are real. The whole, the whole, is just a fabricated imagination. Our system never thought of anything other than this. Because even thinking like this is harmful for him, he kept thinking this. In fact, due to the poor political system, the progressives who have sprung up here and there have brutally cut us off from our roots. After absorbing the writings of Marx and Lenin, after convincing yourself that how sharply you can criticize your people, their past and their way of life, this is the measure of how free you have become, how dedicated you are to the goal. These progressives not only carried forward the condemnations spread by the missionaries, but also instigated them with manifold ferocity. In fact, there was a tempting possibility in front of them that when these sections would get angry and agitated after feeling exploited, then followers would emerge from them. That’s what happened. The followers certainly did come out, but what happened more was that these so-called progressives and the factions they had instigated became ready to see justice even after killing innocents and getting them riddled with bullets. This is what is happening in politics these days. The opposition which had gathered earlier looking after their own interests, was once against the Congress under the leadership of BJP! Sometimes under the leadership of Congress against BJP. Over time, the same opposition disintegrated on the question of its regionalism. Now trying to mobilize again. Against the same BJP under whose leadership he had once gathered. On the other hand, the same BJP which was once seen gathering everyone, is today busy scattering everyone. Seven MPs of AAP party told their party that we are not your “seven”. After all, they joined the BJP. On the other hand, as soon as Trinamool lost the elections in Bengal, about twenty of its MPs left the party and fell into the BJP’s lap like ripe apples. If you bite Mamata Didi, there will be no blood. She is feeling as if the train of 1947 riots has hit her chest, riding in which, for many years, the pain had been coming towards her. Poor Mamata. She had fallen in the eyes of her own people, but now who has been able to stand up again with her broken back, is the one who never gets tired of boycotting the leadership of the opposition leaders. In fact, BJP is a very smart player in Tamil Nadu. When BJP, which defeated Annamalai, could not form a government on its own, then some people might be thinking that Annamalai has separated from BJP, but the reality is that whenever Annamalai gets success, it will fall in favor of BJP. As far as opposition unity is concerned, sometimes their interests are in favor of each other and the problem is that if Trinamool loses, they will fall into the hands of BJP like 1947 riots. The train has boarded, in which the innocent pain had been coming towards us for many years.
