It is said that those who do not have the illusion of water there after seeing the shining sand in the distance, must be lacking in thirst. West Bengal was a kind of political desert for the BJP for years. But there was no reduction in his thirst.
Forward thinking and excellent strategy finally led BJP to victory. Now from Gangotri to Gangasagar, India has become BJP’s! The victory of West Bengal has, in a way, opened the way for the BJP to win a landslide victory in the 2029 Lok Sabha elections.
Earlier it was said that the wind of Indian politics flows only through Ganga. The meaning was that whose Uttar Pradesh is his country. Be it the era of Nehru ji, Indira Gandhi or Rajiv Gandhi. But since then a lot of water has flowed in the river Ganga! Just look at the 2024 Lok Sabha elections – due to the huge loss BJP suffered in Uttar Pradesh, it fell short of the majority.
But, now after establishing a strong foothold in Bihar and West Bengal, BJP’s dependence on Uttar Pradesh alone will reduce greatly. The reasons are clear. The cadre close to Mamata and her party will start disintegrating due to not being in power. Money power will reduce. There will be no muscle power left, on the basis of which the government, government and party were run for 15 years.
This weakness of Trinamool will give full seats to BJP in the next Lok Sabha elections. More or less the same situation will prevail in Bihar also. After Nitish Kumar comes to Delhi i.e. Rajya Sabha, his JDU will definitely weaken in the state, which BJP will get full benefit of. Because after all Ganga flows in Bihar and Bengal also! As far as BJP’s victory in West Bengal is concerned, it involved hard work over a long period of time.
Making a strategy, then losing. Then formulating a strategy, then losing, but not giving up. And finally do it. In the last fifteen years, many workers of Sangh and BJP have been beaten and beaten. Many even lost their lives, but no one gave up. After every election, BJP workers used to fear being beaten. The party did not have enough workers at the booth level.
But this time Home Minister Amit Shah strategically removed all these shortcomings. Prepared people five months in advance. Organized camp in West Bengal. Driven away fear from the minds of the workers there. Only then has this success been achieved this time. Even in Mamata’s stronghold South Bengal, it is not a trivial matter for Trinamool to scatter straws. Defeating Mamata herself from Bhawanipur is no less than a surprise.
Actually, Mamata Banerjee’s shortcoming was that she gradually moved away from the slogan of Mother, Soil and Manush with which she came to power 15 years ago. By giving free rein to the party workers to earn, threaten and beat them, they thought that winning the elections on their strength was the ultimate objective.
He neither cared about the people, their interests, nor about the development of their surroundings, nor did he ever motivate the workers in this direction. Had there been development and people’s welfare had been thought of, then maybe people would have tolerated fifteen years of anti-incumbency. The resentment could have been reduced to some extent. BJP made all these shortcomings of Mamata an issue.
The biggest change in BJP’s strategy this time was that it did not make any personal attack on Mamata. Home Minister Amit Shah kept counting the shortcomings of Mamata’s rule and Prime Minister Narendra Modi focused on things related to Bengal. This is the reason why Jhalmuri is being discussed everywhere today.
Even in celebration of its landslide victory, BJP distributed Jhalmuri instead of sweets. This Jhalmuri is nothing but the real sister of Lai-Sev of Indore. This gap is also seen in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, but in West Bengal, Prime Minister Modi paid Rs. 10 at a shop and ate Jhalmuri. This has become a status symbol of the entire electoral politics. Mamta got a strong blow from this Jhalmuri and Trinamool was destroyed.
Strength in Bihar and Bengal
In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, BJP fell short of majority due to its huge loss in UP. But now after establishing a strong foothold in Bihar and Bengal, BJP’s dependence on UP alone will reduce greatly.
