Are the ongoing conflicts in the world teaching us anything? Probably yes! The biggest lesson that these struggles have taught us is that this world needs not just leaders, but leaders who are equipped with spiritual intelligence. And should also be filled with the belief that the strength of the nation does not come only from artificial intelligence, but from such leadership, which also gives the leader the responsibility of conveying spiritual power to the people.

Yuval Noah Harari explains that spirituality is more important than ever in the 21st century because many spiritual and philosophical questions are suddenly becoming practical questions in this era. According to him, today amidst the crisis of war, all those questions which were once addressed to philosophy have now become very important and are taking us to a point where humans can redesign humans themselves.

Today the world needs spiritual leaders the most because the world has again started asking why bombs fall on schools, why the poor are becoming poorer, what is free-will, what is the meaning of being human and what is humanity?

Harari connects this directly to the companies that are shaping our future. They say that even tech companies really need philosophers. They need experts in spirituality to understand what they are doing. Spiritual leadership is what establishes trust, which is breaking down day by day in today’s world.

The biggest lesson these wars have taught is that despite all the treaties and agreements, there is no trust between the nations. The economic dependence on which the world depended could not stop the wars and all the international organizations also failed to stop the wars because leaders were not found who were providing spiritual leadership. That lost trust can be brought back only by such leadership, in whose image there is no hidden war, no visible cruelty, but he is a hero of peace and spiritual practice, who makes every possible effort to save the world.

Today, we need such a ‘Spiritual Quotient’, which makes every possible effort to save the world. And does not allow this world to become a party or an opposition. Today, on one hand, there is a struggle to save humanity from AI, while on the other hand, the trust in leadership, which both builds and saves a society and a country, is also breaking down among the common people.

It seems as if all the nations are becoming a political arena, where any relationship or identity depends on whose political commitment is what? Who is in favor and who is against? It was also seen in the conflict in West Asia that the countries of the world can sell weapons to serve their interests, but do not want to make any effort to stop the war. Because there too a party and opposition has formed among all the nations.

The world needs such leaders who teach how to live with love and harmony. The public trusts the words and conduct of the leader. If he communicates war then the public also understands the same and if there is a feeling of peace and life in his communication then the society also starts becoming like that.

Spiritual leadership equips people with spiritual power. It protects the leadership from arrogance that wants to conquer the world with weapons and plunge it into never-ending conflicts. In which there is no scope for even repentance. After Covid, the world immersed in wars is now calling for spiritual leadership that can safely take us out of the Hormuz of life!
