My father was born in a very ordinary family. In childhood, I used to study under the tree with Pandya ji. Got admission in government school in fifth class. After being bright in studies, he completed B.Sc from Government College, Ratlam. He went to Indore to study M.Sc., with the help of a small scholarship. But the hostel expenses were very high and money was falling short. Therefore, he was thinking of leaving studies and becoming a teacher. Then one of his professors said – Why don’t you give the entrance exam of BARC (Bhabha Atomic Research Centre)? He came to Bombay to give an interview. To and fro fare was also received. When no call came after a month, he thought the matter was over. Then one day his cousin came running to the hostel and said, you have been selected. The telegram had gone to Ratlam, but no one could understand it because it was in English. Well, this is how my father’s life took a completely different turn. He became a space scientist and earned fame in India and abroad. This journey became possible because of an examination in which there was no discrimination. This is the only opportunity that every youth of this country is asking for today! We will read. We will fight. We will move forward on the basis of hard work. Just assure us that this test is true. If you can give then you are honorably free. This is their right. They are the people of this country. When we could not do even this, they came out on the road. If there is anger among them, then whose fault is it? Those who are buying the paper also have parents. They are more worthless than their children. It is said that competition has increased and we have to do it. If you get caught, there is money, who is afraid? For the person who leaked the paper, it is a business. Look, he is an enterprising guy. He saw a golden opportunity, and hit a straight four. If we had said – Son, it is better for you to fail than to cheat. Can’t become a doctor, become something else. That would be fulfilling the duty of parents. That would be paying off the debt of the soil. Therefore the punishment should be severe. It’s here in the city. It is not only the seller who is at fault, the buyer is also at fault. When the dreams of millions were shattered and some were forced to commit suicide, then do these people sleep at night? Does his soul not call? Just heard today that some people are mixing chemicals in milk. Are they eating peacefully? Well, bridges worth crores collapse after just forty days. That’s because you mix dust in cement. Politicians say a lot, but look where their children live. Well, whoever wants to live in this country has just this to say – Examination is a battle for the student. There will be victory and defeat, it is a part of life. But when the warrior is defeated through deceit, his anger spreads over the entire society. Study, write, become something – we say. Children wake up at four in the morning. Study a lot with all your heart and soul. Keep the mobile on airplane mode. Parents cut off cable TV. When a friend comes, we scold him. It is just a matter of one year. If you succeed, it’s great. The country’s train is moving on the track of this hope. The fire is burning on the fuel of hard work. When this train derailed, people’s hope was lost. There is no question of anyone’s job. There is no uproar about anyone’s future. Today it seems that the foundation on which our country rests has been sold. Youth are the biggest capital of the country. They have dreams and aspirations. If their trust is broken, understand that the country is torn from within. Let’s create a new India, where sweat and not money brings results. We will read. We will fight. Will grow on the basis of hard work. You assure us that this test is true. If you can give it then you are free from honour. This is their right. They are the people of this country.
