It is said that a servant does not get happiness even in his dreams. But this thing was changed by servants like Laxman ji and Hanuman ji. Tulsidas ji has written – Kahi Bhasund Sunhu Khagnayak, Ram Charit Sevak is soothing. Bhusundi says, listen bird king Garuda, Shri Ram’s character is going to give happiness to the servants. So it is certain that the servant will get happiness, if he remains connected to Shri Ram.

Service is done for show, it is also done to boost the ego, but if devotion is present in life then whatever action is taken will be service. Currently, there is a word in use in the market world – gig workers. People who work on their own terms, as per their own time, are called gig workers.

This is a completely new definition of servant. When a person connects himself with God, he becomes a gig worker. Everything is yours – time, results, effort. But the feeling arises that someone else is doing it, we are doing it. And the one who makes it happen is God.
